What’s a coocoovayia?

Coocoovayia is the Greek word for the bird owl. In Greek mythology the owl was the symbol of Athina the goddess of wisdom and patron of the city of Athens, a city thriving with art and scholarship.

We have chosen the coocoovayia as our symbol too not only because of its ancient Greek symbolism that is associated with wisdom and learning, but because it is a timeless global bird, adored but also feared by people, remarkable for its acute senses and the benevolent services to people who live in harmony with it.
